We are going to exercise our demons from our last attempt to negotiate the Cotswold Way non-stop and run/hike/walk/crawl… the remainder of the route.
However, this time we are starting at Chipping Campden and finishing in Stroud.
We have set our target of achieving a minimum of 100km within 24 hours.
We are slightly wiser, planning to adjust our socks and footwear [so Anton doesn’t lose his only remaining 4 toenails and have to post lots of gruesome images of bloody feet and toe nails on social media – yuk!] and give it another go…
Once again we will be completely unsupported for the route and doing it all in the spirit of fun, using the experience, learning, highlights and failings towards our training for the Silk Road Mountain Race and Adventure Racing World Series.
Moreover we cannot wait to use our Fjern coats and LED Lenser Lights, fuelled by scrummy Expedition Food, hydrated by Torq Fitness and all the while carrying everything in our OutThere USA packs.
